If a calculation looks wrong, include the birth date, time and place, the ayanamsa and the screen you were on, and what value you expected. That lets us check it quickly.
Common questions
Do I need internet to use Bhachakram?
No. Every calculation runs on your device. Internet is used only if you choose to download the optional data files.
What do the optional downloads add?
The full world atlas, for searching small towns and villages, and the long-range ephemeris, which extends dates from the built-in 1800–2200 to roughly 13,000 BCE–17,000 CE.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up or login.
My birth time falls in a daylight-saving change. What happens?
If a local time occurred twice or didn't exist, the app shows you the options and asks which one you mean instead of guessing.
Can I switch between Hindi and English?
Yes, in the app's settings. Every term and table is available in both.
Which devices will Bhachakram run on?
Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, Windows and Mac. Each version is coming soon; this site will link to it as soon as it is released. There is no web version.
How to delete your data
Bhachakram has no accounts and stores nothing on our servers, so all your data is on your device and you can remove it yourself:
- To delete one chart, open your saved charts and use Delete on that chart's row.
- To delete everything, uninstall the app. On Android you can instead open Settings, Apps, Bhachakram, Storage and choose Clear storage.
